Why register with THCUP
The purpose of the Tower Hamlets Change Up Consortium (THCUP) is to provide a forum where the local infrastructure organisations for the third sector can plan and deliver work together. The consortium's areas of interest include co-ordinating information and capacity building support to the third sector, as well as discussing potential areas of collaboration for future work.
Full membership is open to all organisations in Tower Hamlets that support Community and Voluntary organisations.
The Tower Hamlets ChangeUp Consortium is open to any organisations providing second tier services in the borough of Tower Hamlets which wishes to work with other similar organisations to provide a more informed, co-ordinated and planned range of support services for frontline groups
Associate membership is available to all Community and Voluntary organisations in the borough.
To join, please complete the registration form in full and if possible, attach your governing documents.
If you can be identified from the information you give us, we need your consent to collect and use your information:
- This information will be included on THCUP database of voluntary & community sector organisations.
- Information may be shared with colleagues for the benefit of your organisation and the local community and projects and services for monitoring and evaluation purposes (e.g. with Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust, Local Borough of Tower Hamlets and other voluntary and community organisations).
- Information you provide will not be disclosed outside THCUP except where necessary in order to facilitate projects and activities that benefit you, THCUP members and the local community.
Once you complete and submit the form you will be sent an email asking you to confirm that you do, in fact, wish to be registered. If you respond positively to this email we will take it that you have "signed" the form, and given us permission to keep your information in our database.
What happens next
If you have agreed to be included in the on-line directory, we will take it that we have your permission for the information on the sections of the form which are marked as "public" to be displayed in a publicly accessible on-line directory.
Once we have agreed that you can join the Consortium, you will be able to access our forums, where you can discuss issues on-line with other members, and also contact them indirectly. Information posted to the forums is visible only by other Consortium members, and in some cases my be further restricted. Information sent in a private message to another organisation can only be seen by them.
